Welcome to the third annual holiday yarn advent calendar by KnitzAndPearls Fiberworks!
Christmas this year is a shiny and sparkly spectacular with a focus on speckles, neons, and blacklight reactive! It’s Merry and Bright and it will make your heart happy and unleash your inner child. You’ll open the box and feel just like a kid at Christmastime!
Buy a perfect gift for a loved one or just pamper yourself this year!
In your box you will receive a large, tote-style project bag filled with 25 individually wrapped, numbered packages. The first 24 will include a 20 gram mini skein of yarn or a 1/2 oz of fiber, and the 25th, to be opened Christmas Day, will be a 100 gram skein or a 4oz braid of fiber. Choose your yarn base or fiber at checkout!
Throughout the calendar, you will find extra goodies, including stitch markers, stickers, sweets, ornaments, and more!
Each package’s skein of yarn is inspired by the joy we feel at Christmas, the dazzle of a light display, the sparkle of fresh snow, and the glow of the fire reflecting in the ornaments on your tree. The color pallet for this year will be eclectic! Lots of pops of neon colors, bright and happy and shiny, rainbows and fluorescent and UV reactive with uber saturation. Many different dye techniques will be used, so you’ll receive solids, variegated, self striping, tonals, and speckle skeins. Think lots of pinks and greens and blues and deep purple!
Choose between Spectacular Sparkle Fingering weight (75/20/5 Merino/Nylon/Lurex), or Twisty Sock Fingering Weight, (85/15 Merino/Nylon).
Each mini skein is 20 grams and 74 yards each.
OR CHOOSE SPINNING FIBER!!! You will receive a 1/2 oz strip of fiber for the first 24 days, then a full 4oz braid on day 25! All the extras from the yarn kits included! The fiber will be an assortment of types from our studio, each labeled so you know the content. Allergen type fiber NOT included (alpaca, angora, etc. only wool blends, synthetics, or wool and silk blends)
